top secret/ssbi
this was awesome. i got to cut my teeth on some really cutting edge technology back in the early days of computing. the most useful thing i took away from the experience was the ability to troubleshoot anything. and i mean anything.
achievements
here's a short list of my career highlights:
development and deployment of AR/VR projects
implementation of competency based training programs
design and launch of corporate technical academy
a successful extraction/recreation of tribal knowledge
management of a $140M P&L, exceeded targets
creation of equipment support software
achieved revenues +300% above business plan
secured strategic alliance leading to largest machine contract in company history
education path
since 1989, i have been on a journey of constant learning. by always seeking knowledge, i've managed to pick up a few letters along the way. A.A.
received at Kilgore College after nearly 15 years of hard work. my bachelor's is a B.A.A.S
from the University of Texas at Tyler, focusing on industrial technology. that degree is complemented by an M.B.A.
also from UT Tyler, with an intense focus on strategy and policy and management science. not to let momentum subside, i also garnered a M.Ed.
in educational technology from Texas A&M. all of these academic pursuits led me to work as a doctoral student at UT Tyler where i pursued a Ph.D.
in HRD: Organizational Development and Change Management. after realizing the politics involved in a terminal degree, i decided it was best just to collect as many undergraduate degrees as possible. today i am seeking a degree in web design from TSTC.
previous coursework
all was not lost. during the lost years i majored in things that make me extremely well rounded today. things like:
electrical engineering
nursing
and
fine arts [theater & music]
these provide me with a broad frame of reference.
of course, the subjects inside my degrees are equally as important. these include:
industrial technology
how and why things work. best practices and tools.
strategy and policy
how to properly position an orgranization for SUCCESS.
management science
the data behind business planning. how to analyze and manipulate it.
education technology
tools for building education at a distance AND leveraging technology for maximal impact to the learner.
doctoral studies
every course i have ever taken has taught me something to be used for a greater purpose. that's why i went after a
Ph.D.
in HRD: Organization Development and Change Management
@ The University of Texas at Tyler.
why would i put myself through the rigors of a Ph.D. program? simply put, i want to do one thing:
unleash the whole of human potential
within the organizations i come in contact with.
social media
ok...i get it, social media is more than we think it is, but somehow less than what it should be. huh?!? short-story: social media can be confusing at times. nevertheless, i'm available socially at the following outlets:
oh, i'm sure i'll be more socially active in the future, but this is a good start. for all of you programming nuts who want to follow me or see what i'm doing, try forking me @
github
you never know what i'm gonna do next.
want to hire me?
sure you do ;p. who doesn't, right? well, you're in luck.
i can be hired outright
in fact i can be hired to do any number of things for you and/or your organization.
if you want my full resume, you can always
